Carl Cox is heading to South Africa. The
famed DJ is headlining the
Electric NYE Ball in Cape Town's CTICC on 31
December 2013. What better time to celebrate with this music icon than this
one-night only New Year’s Eve 2014 DJ set, talk about starting the year with a
bang… Carl’s early days saw him spinning rare groove and hip-hop in the bars of
Chicago and New York. He went on to become a veteran of the acid house scene,
and the stalwart of electronic music he is today; Coxy, as he’s affectionately
known, is showing no signs of slowing down. His residency at Space is one of
the most popular club nights in Ibiza and his Global Radio show reaches 12
million listeners in over 35 countries. “We have been working on acquiring this
booking for the past few years, and, to coin a phrase from the master himself -
oh yes, oh yes- we did it! We are honoured to have the world’s number one party
DJ here in South Africa, performing exclusively under the African night sky, in
the No.1 tourist destination in the world, as we salute the year that was
