U2 ready for next album?

U2's Bono in action
Reports are doing the rounds that Irish rockers U2 will announce their new studio album at the Super Bowl XLVIII in February. According to Digital Spy the band is currently working on the follow-up to 2009's No Line On The Horizon. Billboard even suggested that the new CD might be out by April 2014. It is reported that representatives from the band are now said to be negotiating a deal with brands to announce their new album during the coveted ad breaks in the Super Bowl. Madonna's manager Guy Oseary has reportedly been running U2's affairs and is "reaching out to potential sponsors on the band's behalf". Adam Clayton, bassist for the band, also revealed that they will likely finish the new album by the end of November.
