If you are a music fanatic, like myself, then Monday 19 May
is the date to remember. South Africa's premiere music concert organisers, Big
Concerts, are making a BEEEEEG announcement on that day of an international act
that will be touring South Africa. I've heard that it's a artist/band that
"will pack stadiums". Who it is, however, remains unknown. On the
Facebook page of Big Concerts they posted THIS IMAGE and comments of who it
could be are having the Facebook page ablaze. Some speculate it's One Direction
(I seriously hope it's not), to Muse and even Sepultura (I doubt if they will
even pack stadiums). Other acts on the wish list include Lady Gaga (mmm, hope
not) to Katy Perry, AC/DC, Pink, Taylor Swift and even Beyoncé.
Like we said, the list is endless. I hope it is an artist who hasn't toured
South Africa as yet - someone or a group who will have people queuing for
tickets. My wish list includes Madonna (we can only hope), Muse, U2 (they have
been here twice), Depeche Mode (doubt if they will pack stadiums) and legendary
Paul McCartney just to mention a few. In the meantime, we just have to wait till
19 May....Oh the nerves!
