Expect a pop sound on Taylor Swift's new CD, 1989. Digital Spy reports: "Taylor Swift has announced that she is releasing her first official pop album, titled 1989. The singer also debuted its first single 'Shake It Off'. The album will be released on 27 October. Swift said in a Yahoo live stream on 18 August: "I woke up not wanting but needing to make a new style of music." She added that 1989 is mostly inspired by the late '80s and took her two years to complete. "We've made my favourite album I've ever made," she went on to say. Digital Spy further reported that 1989 is the singer's birth year. The artwork features her in a cut-off Polaroid photo with "T.S. 1989" written with marker at the bottom."
