FESTIVAL! Up the Creek 2016 the full band line up

Think cool river...think colour and cocktails…think summer….think fun! Round up your mates and gather round. The trumpeter`s cheeks are bulging – tooteretootoot! Throw in an anticipating drumroll; hear hear!…..ladies and gentleman, we are jolly happy to announce the bands signed to play at Jägermeister presents Up The Creek Music Festival 2016: Shortstraw, Sannie Fox, Bye Beneco, Dave Ferguson, Albert Frost & Robin Auld, The Ballistics, The Vanilla, Stoker, Grassy Spark, Nomadic Orchestra, Al Bairre, Georgetown, Southern Wild, Crimson House Blues, Hatchetman, The Black Cat Bones, Bark, December Streets, Jonathan Peyper Trio, Gerald Clark and the Dead Men, Guy Collins, Akkedis, Piet Botha, Kings Down South, The Coast, Rubber Duc, The Streaks, Bandolero, Goodluck Live (DJ Set), Jon Savage, Slow Jack, Basson Laubscher, Wynand Davel, Friso Woudstra, Dylan Pistorius. We had a blast in 2015 and cannot wait to bring you more of the same music-with ariver-runs-through-it magic in 2016. We took all of your feedback into consideration and have decided to go back to our 2014 event size and will therefore only be selling 2 700 full weekend tickets. Please note that 50% of the tickets are sold out, so don’t wait and be disappointed. We also asked some of our festival goers why they keep coming back every year. Jackie Barham from Knysna has been going to Up the Creek since 2008: “By far in my opinion the best festival in the country. I love seeing SA Musicians giving it their all and I love the intimacy of Up the Creek.” Gail Robinson from Cape Town says that she has been to every Up the Creek for the past 25 years: “I keep coming back for the music – am a big SA Music fan – and of course, the beautiful venue.”
