ARTIST OF THE WEEK: Troye Sivan

I'm so stoked about Troye Sivan! This South African born singer is one of those must-watched-stars of 2016 (even Rolling Stone Magazine reckons so!) and with his dreamy voice will sure capture your soul and your CD players. He is rocking the world with his song Wild which is taken from his Blue Neighborhood EP. It's soft electropop with lucsious honest lyrics where he sings about the anxiety and brutal thing that is teenage love. I just love Wild, it's truly magical. For those who don't know him, here are some cool facts about this cutie:
Troye Sivian on his YouTube channel
1. The 20-year-old singer (he will be 21 in June) was born in Jozi (aka Johannesburg).
2. His dad and mom packed up the family and moved to Australia when he was two years old. He has three siblings: Tyde, Steele and Sage. At the moment Troye is living in Perth, Western Australia.
3. He started his own YouTube channel when he was 12-years-old. The YouTuber has over 4 million subscribers! Put that in your pipe and smoke.
4. He also came out as gay on YouTube on 7 August 2013.
5. Besides music, he is also an actor. He was cast as James Howlett in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), the young version of Hugh Jackman's character and went on to star in the comedy Spud (2010) and Spud 2: The Madness Continues (2013).
6. He notes Michael Jackson and the Spice Girls as some of the influences for his music.
